Letter ; Fort Edward, [N.Y.], to Col. [Richard] Varick, 1777 July 15.

Letter to Colonel Varick discussing the progress of Burgoyne's campaign. Schuyler writes from Fort Edward and states that Burgoyne has just left there. He also states that he was ordered 40 cannon and 15 tons of powder to be shipped to Saratoga. Schuyler has high hopes that Burgoyne's campaign will not reach Albany.
